Josefinos and Centralites meet for Dual Encounter 2017

The seminary communities of San Jose Seminary and the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Central Seminary gathered for the Dual Encounter 2017 on Sunday, November 19, 2017 in Espana, Manila.

Josefinos and Centralites spent a day together for insightful talks, games, and performances. The highlight of the event was the keynote presentation by Most Rev. Pablo Virgilio David, DD, Bishop of the Diocese of Kalookan. Meanwhile, Rev. Fr. Quirico Pedragosa, OP, rector of UST Central Seminary and Fr. Felipe Fruto Ll. Ramirez, SJ, acting rector of San Jose Seminary, presided over solemn Eucharistic celebration .

The theme for this year’s celebration is “Boronyog: Magkabalikat Tungo sa Pagbabago.”

The Dual Encounter is an annual meet between the communities of San Jose Seminary and UST Central Seminary aimed at fostering brotherhood and camaraderie among seminarians of the two inter-diocesan seminaries in the country.
